Sofie Laguna is an author, actor and playwright. Out of all these things, being an author is her favourite. Sofie's books have been named Honour Books and Notable Books in the CBCA Book of the Year Awards and have been shortlisted in the Queensland Premier's Literary Awards. Some of her titles for children include My Yellow Blanky, Too Loud Lily, Stephen's Music, Bad Buster, Big Ned's Bushwalk and Bird and Sugar Boy. Sofie lives in Melbourne with her partner, Marc.
