Rob Hirst is a founder-member, drummer and songwriter with Australian band Midnight Oil. He currently plays in blues band The Backsliders. Rob wrote Willie's Bar and Grill, about Midnight Oil's post-9/11 North American tour, and has been a contributor to The Bulletin and Rolling Stone.
