Laura Harris is the Publishing Director, Children's Books, at Penguin Australia. She has been with Penguin Books for ten years and did think she'd be an archaeologist by now, but making books has been quite an adventure too. She was born and bred in Sydney but also spent a few years living in a small Greek village that had only 1000 people but eight discos! Though surrounded by creative, talented people in her work, she has checked with her doctor who has assured her, she doesn't have a novel in her!
