Born in the wilds of suburban Sydney in 1970, Dave 'Cartoon Dave' Hackett has been seen cartooning on a stack of different TV shows in Australia, New Zealand, China and Hong Kong. He is the author of five how-to cartooning books, and wrote the hilarious UFO (Unavoidable Family Outing) series of novels. Norman Enormous is his first (but hopefully not his last) picture book. Dave was once a door-to-door saucepan salesman, can't eat spicy food anymore, and one day hopes to be mistaken for a handsome movie star, or, at the very least, a celebrity gardener.
