Ursula Dubosarsky was born and grew up in Sydney and wanted to be a writer from the age of six. She is now the author of more than twenty books for children and young adults, both fiction and non-fiction. She has won several national literary awards and her books have been published all over the world. Her latest publication is a rhyming picture book, illustrated by Andrew Joyner, called The Terrible Plop. She lives in Sydney with her husband and three children.
